Broadcast Operations Specialist
The Broadcast Operations Specialist is a key member of the Global Broadcast Operations team, responsible for supporting the origination of hundreds of linear and digital feeds. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of broadcast processes and technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and enhance workflows, processes, and technologies across all pillars of Broadcast Operations, including Master Control, Broadcast Graphics, and Broadcast Ingest.
- Lead and support system testing, technology integration, and troubleshooting efforts to ensure optimal broadcast performance.
- Coordinate training initiatives, ensuring staff are equipped with the latest tools, knowledge, and best practices.
- Serve as a central point of contact for global broadcast projects, facilitating communication and project collaboration across departments.
- Maintain, update, and distribute comprehensive process documentation to support consistency and operational excellence.
- Partner with the Global Broadcast Operations management team to implement updates, streamline procedures, and drive continuous improvement.
- Work a set 40-hour week schedule, with availability across a 24x7 operation.
- All other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements include:
- 2+ years professional experience
- Experience in professional documentation development and collaboration tools
- Ability to maintain detail-oriented efficiency, even in high pressure environment
- Ability to develop, update and deploy new processes to meet business needs for a large-scale global operation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively detail information
- Collaborative approach to working with global internal and external operations and technology partners
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving operations environment and its requirements.
- Ability to consistently maintain professionalism and a positive attitude
- This position is considered an essential position, meaning that during periods of inclement weather, emergencies, or when access to the workplace may be impeded, employees in this position are expected to report to work to support business continuance, unless otherwise instructed by their direct manager.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in Broadcast Operations/Master Control environment
- Project management/coordination experience or similar certification
