This apprenticeship is based in Issy-les-Moulineaux and will last for 12 months, starting in 2026.

Your New Role

As an apprentice Broadcast Engineer, you will join the Core Technology team responsible for the live production environments for TNT Sports and Eurosport across several European markets.

You will work alongside experienced broadcast engineers and support specialists to contribute to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of the critical broadcast systems used for live sports productions.

This apprenticeship will provide you with hands-on experience in:

• Broadcast support in live environments
• IP production infrastructures
• Broadcast systems engineering
• Operational workflows
• Modern cloud production technologies

You will gradually be exposed to real-time operational support activities in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Your Missions

Support Broadcast:

• Participate in the supervision of broadcast systems and operational services.
• Assist level 2 support engineers in the analysis and resolution of incidents.
• Contribute to troubleshooting activities on live production environments.
• Escalate incidents according to operational procedures.
• Participate in the documentation of incidents, known issues, and corrective actions.
• Contribute to maintenance operations and checks for the proper functioning of systems.

Engineering & Projects:

• Assist engineers during the installation, configuration, and testing of broadcast equipment.
• Participate in projects for the evolution and technical improvement of infrastructures.
• Contribute to configuration changes related to special events and productions.
• Participate in the testing and validation phases of new workflows.
• Update technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Apply best practices in broadcast engineering.

You are currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields:

• Broadcast Engineering
• Audiovisual Technologies

Technical Skills (desired):

A first knowledge or interest in some of the following areas would be appreciated:

• Broadcast technologies
• Audio/video streams
• IP networks
• Live production environments
• Virtualization or cloud technologies
• Broadcast graphics systems
• Linux or Windows server environments

Knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110, PTP, Vizrt AR/VR/On Screen, EVS, LiveTouch or broadcast mixers is a plus but not mandatory.
