Required Education and Experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Five (5) years or more of experience in Child Welfare Child Welfare in North Carolina Pre-Service
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Experience utilizing a statewide automated case management system
  • Prior Supervisory experience

Qualifications

Knowledge of child welfare policy, statute, and federal legislation Experience with statewide child welfare case management systems Diversity in Child Welfare program experience Knowledge of adult learning styles Strong collaboration and effectiveness with a team approach Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills (with groups of various sizes) and the ability to clearly convey information to staff at all levels within and outside the agency Positive attitude Use of appropriate interpersonal skills and methods to reduce tension and resolve conflict Experience in curriculum development Familiarity and comfort in utilizing multiple mediums to deliver training, i.e. PowerPoint, Prezi, Publisher, Excel Initiative Receptive to feedback Willingness to grow Strong organizational and decision-making skills Critical thinking skills Creativity and Solution-focused approaches to implementing change Willingness to foster strong team and inter-Division relationships

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5:15 pm

Hiring Range: 67,727 - 91,434 Commensurate with Experience

Market Range: 67,727.00 - 115,141.00
