Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
As the Head of Service Modernisation at NZTA, you will lead the transformation of customer-facing services, driving a continuous improvement programme that champions a customer-centric and digitally enabled future. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the strategic transformation and modernisation of customer service channels across the organisation, shaping and delivering a cohesive programme of change that embraces digital channels, automation, and ongoing innovation. You will also build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of agility, creativity, and continuous improvement to ensure NZTA remains at the forefront of customer service excellence.

We're looking for a strategic leader with:
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service.
