Who will you be working with?

You will work with our HR Shared Services (HRSS) Operational Excellence Team, within Global HR Operations. We are a team of curious, passionate, process efficient, customer centric HR professionals! We are driving a global HR operations transformation for Wabtec that will position the HR function to shift towards best in class for HR Service Delivery.

How will you make a difference?

As part of the HR Shared Services (HRSS) Operational Excellence Team, The Global HR Process Analyst serves as a vital bridge between process delivery and decision-making, leveraging analytical skills to empower HR Shared Services (HRSS) in achieving its goals more effectively. By analyzing global HR process performance data to establish metrics and providing actionable insights, the Global HR Process Analyst will provide process insights to enable strategic decision-making. This role will collaborate across Wabtec HR to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support the department's growth objectives.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Tell us about your educational and HR career experience particularly in HR Operations and HR Service Delivery. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years experience working Hire to Retire Processes, and a strong understanding of HR Systems including: Workday, Service Now, ADP, Workforce Management
  • Tell us about your ability to understand complex processes and their interdependencies, ability to create clear and concise documentation, presentations, and reports.
  • Do you have any certifications such as: LEAN or Six Sigma certification? This would be an asset!
  • Tell us about your story telling skills using data and well defined process maps. We want to understand your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders through written and verbal communication.
  • How fluent are you with the various Microsoft 365 suite of apps, and how fast can you learn and adapt to new technologies.

What will your typical day look like?

The Global HR Process Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, mapping out current workflows, and identifying opportunities for enhancement. This role will support HRSS Operational Excellence projects and initiatives that drive the transformation agenda for Wabtec HR. The Global HR Process Analyst is expected to work closely with the Wabtec HR community, fellow team members, technical partners, and vendors to evaluate and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Process Analysis and Improvement

• Develop and deliver dynamic, forward-thinking reports to department Sr Leaders and Management, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. Perform continuous analysis to identify and prioritize high-impact process improvements, efficiency, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Leverage advanced analytics with innovative approaches to interpret data, revealing underlying patterns, trends, and insights that may not be immediately obvious. By transforming raw data into compelling narratives, the Global HR Process owner will help stakeholders understand the significance of the findings and how they relate to our strategic objectives. Through this process, drive and foster a data-driven culture that encourages proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• Develop new reporting in Workday, PowerBI, Tableau, ADP, Snowflake, future databases introduced and other process mining tools to provide insights and all detail tracking of areas of improvement.

• Document current and future state processes and develop detailed process maps including flowcharts, process models, and detailed procedures.

• Conduct gap analysis and identify feasible alternative solutions including business process re-design that meet defined business objectives.

Stakeholder Management and Cross Department Collaboration

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and redundancies.

• Identify change management requirements, assist in the development of training materials and end user communications.

• Develop and present findings at user group and stakeholder meetings. Plan and facilitate necessary user group meetings.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
