Role Description

• A senior developer/architect who will act as the technical bridge between the Adtech team and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).
• Responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the integration of our Adtech platform with MNO network components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert insights on MNO network infrastructure, equipment, and integration points.
• Collaborate with the Adtech architect to design and build robust product architectures.
• Develop Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and write code to connect Adtech components (e.g., CDP) with network data sources.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on MNO-specific protocols like SMPP, SS7, and others.
• Identify and help the team navigate technical challenges unique to the MNO environment.
• Attend technical and commercial meetings with MNO partners to address specific questions and provide technical guidance.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience as a senior developer or architect working within or for Mobile Network Operators, either direct or via vendors of products and services for MNOs.
• Deep knowledge of MNO networks covering 2G to 5G, including network architecture, equipment and flows.
• Proficiency in mobile communication protocols, such as SS7, Diameter, 5G SBA, GTP and SMPP.
• Proven ability to write code for integrations and POCs.
• Good understanding of big data management, infrastructure and processing, for example CDP.
• Experience in systems integration and solution design.
• Experience working with Call Detail Records (CDRs) and understanding how to extract and process relevant information for adtech.
• Knowledge of subscriber data from systems like Home Location Register (HLR) and Home Subscriber Server (HSS).
• Expertise in location-based data from MNO systems, including data from LBS (Location-Based Services) platforms, Cell ID, and RADIUS servers.
• Understanding of how to work with DNS records and mobile app usage data for creating audience segments.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Adtech industry or with advertising platforms.
• Familiarity with various data sources and their collection within an MNO environment.
• Experience in a customer-facing or pre-sales technical role.
