Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will close sales over the phone, working closely with leads to understand their needs, present product benefits, and overcome objections. This position is four days a week onsite at our 3100 Sanders Rd Suite 150, Northbrook, IL 60062.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Qualify and engage potential leads through inbound and outbound phone prospecting
  • Focus on closing deals efficiently to maximize revenue and minimize time to close
  • Conduct compelling phone presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with leads and existing customers to nurture relationships and identify upsell opportunities
  • Accurately record all customer interactions and sales activities in Salesforce
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to refine sales strategies and processes
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and sales best practices

Qualifications

  • Previous Inside Sales experience in building pipeline and moving opportunities through sales cycle a plus
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with a passion for engaging customers over the phone
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
  • Comfortable conducting presentations and negotiating deals remotely
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a collaborative new team
  • Interest in technology products and a desire for long-term growth in sales roles

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity. For this specific role, you may be eligible to participate in the sales/commission plan at a rate of 30% - 50% of the base salary.
