HR Generalist

P&C Generalist

We're now looking for an experienced P&C Generalist to support our Australian teams. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role for someone who enjoys being close to the business, navigating complexity, and delivering practical HR solutions in a global, matrixed environment.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you'll partner closely with Australian leaders to provide day-to-day HR advice and operational delivery across the employee lifecycle. You'll work locally in Auburn while collaborating with APAC and Global Centres of Excellence, ensuring global people programs are delivered consistently while remaining fit-for-purpose in Australia.

What you'll be doing

• Serve as the first point of HR support for Australian leaders, helping translate business plans into effective people structures, capability decisions and confident leadership practices.
• Manage recruitment activity in partnership with Talent Acquisition, guiding leaders from role definition and approvals through to offer support, compliance checks, visa processes and a seamless transition into the business.
• Shape and deliver onboarding and induction experiences that are consistent, engaging and compliant, setting new employees up for early success.
• Enable strong performance outcomes by supporting leaders through goal alignment, probation milestones, performance conversations, improvement actions and annual review and reward cycles.
• Provide measured, commercially minded employee and industrial relations advice, resolving routine matters and partnering with senior HR or legal teams on more complex issues.
• Oversee the day-to-day administration of reward and recognition programs, ensuring governance, visibility of spend and meaningful employee participation.
• Collaborate with APAC and Global HR teams to localise global programs and contribute to regional projects.

• A tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Industrial Relations or similar (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years' experience in a broad HR generalist role, with strong ER and IR exposure.
• Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to coach, influence and challenge constructively.
• A pragmatic, organised and resilient approach — comfortable juggling priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience using HR systems (e.g. Dayforce, SuccessFactors) and interpreting people data.
• High integrity and discretion, with sound judgement and professionalism.
