Technical Support And Product Training For Gilbarco Veeder-Root

Providing technical support and training for Gilbarco Veeder-Root products at a regional level. Responsible for keeping documentation up to date, version control, and implementing pilot projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating, and delivering training for Gilbarco Veeder Root products to technicians, distributors, clients, and other functional areas in person and virtually.
• Providing specialized support to field technicians and remote support.
• Developing technical and functional procedures, as well as relevant product documentation.
• Performing installations of company products.
• Homologating hardware.
• Diagnosing faults that occur in products and proposing solutions.
• Resolving complex incidents that require in-depth analysis and collaboration with the Engineering department.
• Managing, implementing, and handling new products and projects in GVR.
• Creating and maintaining test environments for products.
• Performing other tasks that may be required to meet business requirements.
• Conducting all business-related processes with integrity.
• Complying with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies.
• Developing all activities in an efficient and safe manner.
• Responsible for reporting and informing accidents to the institution and/or corresponding areas.
• Responsible for the correct and efficient segregation of waste and/or products.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

• Technical secondary/tertiary education.
• Recommended specializations: Electronics, Programming/Software, Network Systems, Electromechanics.
• High knowledge of operating systems: Windows, Linux.
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of PM tools.
• Intermediate SQL Server knowledge.
• Basic programming knowledge: JavaScript, Python, C++.
• High knowledge of Management Systems.
• English Level C2.
• Installation and configuration of hardware.
• High knowledge of computer networks.
• Remote connection tools or programs.
• Ideal: knowledge of Zendesk in Gilbarco Veeder Root Products.
• Communication skills.
• Analysis and planning capacity.
• Good interpersonal relationship management.
• Ability to respond to technical queries.
• Ability to write technical manuals or adapt functional manuals.
• Autonomy in managing responsibilities.
• Problem-solving.
• Interest in testing new versions in laboratory or production environments.
