About the Role

Our new Cloud Integration Engineer will design, develop, deploy, maintain, and roll out cloud-native data and process integrations across V/Line applications, in an AWS environment.

You will collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and create a cohesive infrastructure that meets current needs and future scalability and performance requirements.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and integration requirements.
  • Analyse systems and data flows to identify integration points.
  • Develop and maintain integration interfaces using AWS services.
  • Create data mappings, transformations, and ETL processes using AWS.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and message queues.
  • Plan and conduct unit and integration testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Implement monitoring using AWS Services.
  • Conduct maintenance and updates for integration solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Implement security best practices using AWS Control Tower.
  • Work with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate with stakeholders for updates and feedback.
  • May be on-call to support a 24x7 environment.

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Must have 4+ years' experience successfully working as an integration developer specifically within an AWS integration environment.
  • Must have 3+ years hands on experience with NodeJS and/or .Net
  • Demonstrated experience with Test Frameworks, unit testing and integration testing
  • Established experience working with DevOps tools (Azure Devops/GitHub/Bitbuckets)
  • Proven experience with any 'Infrastructure as a Code' (IaaC)
  • Possess at least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
