As an IT Support Specialist, you'll provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure smooth operation of our IT systems to empower our team and enhance productivity. We're looking for a tech-savvy professional with qualifications such as experience in IT support, expertise in systems, and strong problem-solving skills.

Schedule: Full Time – 80 hours/pay period – Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be on the front lines of technical service—supporting staff across Vivie and our contracted partners by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. With a strong mix of analytical thinking and interpersonal skill, you'll help maintain smooth and secure technology operations. Whether it's setting up a new workstation or resolving urgent technical issues, you'll play a key role in ensuring our teams can focus on what they do best—delivering exceptional care.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will:

  • Deliver First-Level Technical Support – Respond to help desk requests, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and escalate complex problems when needed. Maintain detailed documentation in the ticketing system.
  • Maintain & Deploy IT Equipment – Set up, configure, and deploy desktop computers, mobile devices, servers, and networking equipment. Track and maintain inventory for hardware and software assets.
  • Support Users & Contracted Sites – Serve as the go-to contact for remote users and contracted partners. Provide responsive technical support, travel to job sites as needed, and offer training on the use of technology.
  • Manage System Updates & Performance – Perform routine software upgrades and support system security, including Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and mobile device platforms. Coordinate with external providers to ensure timely resolution of service tickets and successful implementation of IT projects.
  • Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

This job also requires:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience (4-6 years in technical support or help desk preferred).
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and mobile OS platforms.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with end users across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, users, and visitors.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
