Engineering Internship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support key operations within our nuclear power facility. This role offers a unique opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, health physics, or a related technical field to gain hands-on experience in a highly regulated, safety-focused environment. The intern will work alongside experienced professionals across departments such as operations, maintenance, engineering, or radiation protection to contribute to ongoing projects, data analysis, procedural reviews, and operational improvements.

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing technical and operational data.
• Support engineering and operations teams with documentation, reporting.
• Participate in safety and compliance-related activities.
• Engage in training sessions and site walkthroughs to build foundational knowledge of nuclear systems and plant operations.
• Contribute to special projects aimed at improving efficiency, safety, or regulatory adherence.
• Maintain accurate records and follow strict quality assurance and nuclear safety protocols.

Strong academic performance with a focus on science, technology, or nuclear systems. Basic understanding of nuclear energy principles or willingness to learn. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Commitment to safety, compliance, and professional integrity. Interest in pursuing a career in the nuclear energy sector.
