✨ About The Role
- Lead and grow a team of engineers to design and build scalable services to power Figma's ML infrastructure
- Design and implement infrastructure to train, deploy, and serve models at scale, working closely with ML/AI leaders and engineers
- Develop internal tools for model development and experimentation, leveraging industry best practices and a first-principles approach
- Evangelize best practices within the engineering team to ensure high code quality and productivity
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for teams and projects

- Experienced engineering leader with a track record of managing teams and building scalable services in the ML/AI space
- Strong background in designing and implementing infrastructure to support ML workflows, including training and serving models at scale
- Ability to collaborate effectively with ML engineers and researchers to develop internal tools for model development and experimentation
- Proven experience in evangelizing best practices and maintaining high code quality within engineering teams
