Deal Strategy Specialist
Role Objective: Responsible for creating, validating, and managing order forms/contracts for Google services. The role ensures accuracy of customer requirements captured by Field Sales Representatives (FSR), translates them into compliant order forms, and facilitates a seamless deal execution process. The DSS collaborates with SMEs, QA, and sales teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Order & Contract Creation
- Review requirements provided by Field Sales Representatives (FSR) and validate customer account details.
- Prepare order forms/contracts including order#, services availed, unique user IDs, legal contact information, and email IDs.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of order data with policies and guidelines.
- Update internal systems with validated order information.
Renewals Management
- Process renewal cases by validating order forms/contracts.
- Update Q+ and other internal tools with accurate renewal information.
Deal Structuring & Compliance
- Ensure orders/contracts align with Google's commercial and legal frameworks.
- Perform approval vs policy and approval vs contract checks prior to submission.
- Collaborate with SMEs for order form/contract review and incorporate feedback.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Provide clarifications to internal stakeholders regarding order details when required.
- Support escalations by providing accurate order data and documentation.
Quality & Process Adherence
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for deal creation and documentation.
- Ensure orders pass through QA checks and address feedback promptly.
- Minimize repeat errors through proactive error-proofing of order forms.
- Maintain high accuracy rates to reduce client-found defects.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate equivalent in commerce/finance background preferred
Work Schedule: 24x7 rotation shifts.
1–3 years of experience in deal desk, renewals, provisioning, sales operations, order management, or contract management.
Strong knowledge of order form/contract creation processes.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and compliance orientation.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
