Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ATF Junior Developer with expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test cases using the Automated Test Framework ATF for the Customer Service Management CSM module. The role involves ensuring quality delivery, accelerating regression testing, and improving overall test coverage within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of ServiceNow development or QA experience, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in ATF.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated test cases for CSM module workflows, forms, and integrations.
• Develop reusable and modular ATF test steps and suites to cover end-to-end scenarios case lifecycle, accountcontact management, entitlements, SLAs, knowledge, and portals.
• Implement data-driven testing strategies for complex CSM use cases.
• Test Execution & Reporting: Execute automated test suites across subproduction environments. Monitor test results, analyze failures, and troubleshoot issues. Provide detailed reporting on test coverage, passfail status, and defect tracking.
• Work closely with CSM developers, QA, and business analysts to translate business requirements into automated test cases.
• Collaborate with functional testers to balance manual and automated testing efforts.
• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to CICD pipelines by integrating ATF tests.
• Governance & Best Practices: Maintain ATF libraries and enforce reusability standards. Define and implement test data management strategies within ATF for CSM testing. Drive automation maturity and adopt ServiceNow best practices for ATF.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the Customer Service Management CSM module: case management, entitlements, service contracts, SLAs, knowledge management, and customer portals.
• Experience automating workflows in related modules Knowledge, CTI, Agent Workspace, Virtual Agent is a plus.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow ATF scripting JavaScript, custom test steps.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow forms, UI actions, clientserver scripts, and flows to validate test scenarios.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow upgrade testing and regression automation.
• Experience integrating ATF with CICD pipelines Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies unit, regression, UAT, smoke testing.
• Experience in test case design and defect management.
• Exposure to ServiceNow subproduction environments DEV, QA, UAT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Certifications & Preferred:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator CSA.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer CAD.
