Job Description – Finance Tester (Functional Test Automation Engineer)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with manual and functional testing experience, including backend and file validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual functional testing of finance applications and workflows.

• Design test scenarios from business and technical requirements.

• Convert manual functional test cases into automated test scripts.

• Build and maintain automated regression suites.

• Validate backend data using SQL.

Mandatory Skills & Experience – Must Have:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional test automation using Selenium or Playwright frameworks.

• Proven ability to convert manual test cases into automated scripts.

• 2+ years of experience in Functional Manual Testing.

• 3+ years of experience in Backend validation using SQL for Oracle DB.

• 2 + years of experience in Banking or Finance applications testing.

Nice to have Skills & Experience:

• Any programming or tool creation experience.

• Experience validating CSV, XML, JSON, or fixed width files.

• Experience in Insurance systems
