Job Description Role: Lead Engineer SSH Management Location: Hyderabad / Pune Work Model: Hybrid (Client office / Onsite as per business requirement)

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer SSH Management to own and drive enterprise‑scale SSH key lifecycle management across complex Unix/Linux environments. The role requires strong hands on expertise in SSH governance, automation, IAM/PAM integration, and secure access controls, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives, support release pipelines, and engage with enterprise stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in strengthening access security, compliance, and operational efficiency within regulated enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• SSH & Access Management Lead end to end SSH key lifecycle management including discovery, rotation, revocation, and compliance enforcement.
• Implement and manage SSH governance standards, ensuring adherence to enterprise security policies.
• Drive SSH key discovery and remediation using tools such as Venafi SSH or equivalent platforms.
• Integrate SSH access controls with IAM RBAC and PAM solutions to enable secure privileged access.

Unix/Linux Administration

• Provide advanced administration and troubleshooting support for Unix/Linux systems across large, distributed environments.
• Ensure system hardening, patching, and secure configuration baselines.
• Support production and non‑production environments with high availability and stability.

Primary Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong expertise in Unix/Linux administration
• SSH key management (discovery, rotation, compliance)
• Automation scripting (Shell, Python, or equivalent)
• Experience with release pipelines / CI‑CD integration
• Working knowledge of SQL databases
• IAM RBAC and PAM concepts and implementations

Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT infrastructure or platform engineering experience
• Prior experience in security‑focused access management or privileged access roles preferred
• Experience working in large enterprise or regulated client environments is highly desirable
