Technical Web Developer & Virtual Assistant

The company has been operating for four years and has established itself as a major player in the residential maintenance services sector in Perth, Western Australia. It offers a complete solution to address various reactive property maintenance needs and provides support for specialized tasks as well.

Job Description

Web Development & Technical Support:

• Maintain, update, and optimize existing websites (WordPress, Bubble, Webflow, or custom builds).
• Implement new features, plug-ins, and integrations (e.g. payment gateways, booking systems, CRM links).
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and ensure smooth site performance.
• Manage hosting, domains, SSL certificates, and backups.

Virtual Assistant & Retainer Duties:

• Provide ongoing technical support to the team via Slack, Trello, or email.
• Respond to ad hoc web or tech requests within agreed SLA (e.g. 24–48 hours).
• Assist with data entry, reporting dashboards, and simple automations (Zapier, Google Apps Script, etc.).
• Support marketing functions (landing pages, email templates, analytics tracking).

Must Haves

• At least 2 years of Web Development experience

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Bubble.io, or similar).

• Comfortable with integrations: APIs, Stripe/Payrix/WorldPay, scheduling tools, CRMs.

• Ability to self-manage and work on a retainer model with predictable monthly hours.

• Strong communication skills, responsive, detail-oriented.

Home Office Requirements
