Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer

We are currently seeking an entry-level water/wastewater engineer in our Newport News, VA office. Responsibilities will include water and sewer modeling, water and wastewater facility evaluation, design, and construction administration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 0-4 years of water/wastewater design experience.
• Understanding of or experience designing water and wastewater facilities including pipelines, pumping systems, and treatment systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Bentley MicroStation and water distribution and sewer modeling software a plus.
• Relevant internship experience required for new graduates.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
• Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or EIT preferred.
