Technical Subject Matter Expert (Sme)

This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making.

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking highly skilled and experienced Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The SME will provide specialized knowledge and expertise in logistics, intelligence, technology integration, or similar field to ensure the successful execution of projects and strategic initiatives. This is a remote part-time position.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert in a targeted field of interest
• Provide technical guidance and/or knowledge to internal teams, ensuring best practices and industry standards are met
• Identify business/operational needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and/or optimize solutions
• Contribute to strategic planning and solutioning
• Compile data through interviewing and/or networking with various internal and external stakeholders
• Develop, write, and review content to support strategic initiatives, projects, and/or proposals
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and/or best practices

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
• 8 Years of proven experience in targeted field of interest
• Solid relationships with known stakeholders in targeted field of interest
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to work collaboratively on a team
• Clearance- Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance

• 10+ Years of proven experience in targeted field of interest
