Fauquier Health has 5 Main Operating rooms plus a Cystoscopy Suite. As a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Services Unit, you will take part in the wide variety of services we have to offer, including Total Joint Replacements, Sports Medicine, ENT, General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Retina, and Spine. Fauquier Health is paving the way in advanced surgical procedures by offering minimally invasive robotic surgery with our state-of-the-art daVinci Xi robotic platform.

How you'll contribute: A Sterile Processing Technician who excels in this role:

• Collects, decontaminates, stores, and distributes all reusable supplies and patient care equipment within the hospital.
• Processes and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical, biological, and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy.
• Assures that updates are entered regarding the procedure manuals, tray cards, and instrumentation book.

What we're looking for: Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience as a sterile processing technician highly preferred. Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required within 1 year of hire.
