Lead Platform Engineer

We are looking for a remote Lead Platform Engineer who will support the design, development, and continuous engineering of an Enterprise Data Platform that enables application and AI/ML development activities. This group is building a next-generation end-to-end platform for development, testing, and production workloads to accelerate secure software development. The Platform Engineer will be responsible for working with the Security and Compliance team and Platform Engineers to implement secure infrastructure features, configurations, and automation to create a dynamic platform-as-a-service for development teams.

Duration: 12 month contract, extensions and FTE conversion possible

Location: Remote, US

Pay: 65-85/hour

Skills and Requirements

- 7+ years of platform engineering and/or DevOps experience

- CDK experience

- Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes (highly preferred)

- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript (highly preferred), Python, Go

- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance

Experience with Istio, Kyverno, Prometheus, Grafana, or Keycloak

Experience with vulnerability management and dynamic and static code analysis

Experience with hardened AMIs and Container Images, such as DoD STIGs and CIS Benchmarks

Experience with SIEMs, Audit, and Logging

Experience with APM, such as Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk

Experience with troubleshooting platform application deployments and configurations
