MILVETS is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in IT transformation projects and program management. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in leading complex initiatives, coordinating across stakeholders, and delivering measurable results. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with mission objectives.

Lead and manage IT transformation projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and performance reporting.
Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and risk/issue tracking.
Coordinate with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Provide oversight for risk management, quality assurance, and performance metrics reporting.
Manage budget planning, acquisition planning, and programmatic support activities.
Support governance processes by preparing project documentation, briefs, and reports.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, best practices, and quality management frameworks.
Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
Strong knowledge of IT transformation initiatives, systems design, and technology assessments.
Familiarity with Network Operations (NetOps) C2 requirements and systems analysis.
Experience with risk and quality management methodologies.
Understanding of acquisition and budget planning processes.
Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline and minimum of 5 years of experience in IT transformation project management OR 9 years of relevant professional experience without a degree.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years managing IT transformation projects. At least 2 of those years must be in one or more of the following areas: Network Operations (NetOps) C2, technology assessments, system design, systems analysis, programmatic support, quality assurance, acquisition planning, or budget planning.
Certification: PMP or ITILv3 Intermediate certification (required).
Strong background in federal or defense IT programs.
Proven success leading cross-functional teams in complex technical environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief executives and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to implement best practices in risk management, schedule management, and performance reporting.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on achieving results.
