Pharmacy Operations Manager - Inpatient Memorial Regional Medical Center (please note: must have flexibility, hospital experience with strong written/verbal communication, be extremely organized, be a problem-solver and contingency planner, dependable, and able to delegate.)
The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Pharmacy in managing the pharmacy operations. The Pharmacy Operations Manager will implement and enforce policies and procedures, supervision and training of staff, inventory management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. In addition, The Operations Manager shall assist in managing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Director is unavailable.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD (required) Advanced pharmacy degree – Doctor of Pharmacy, Masters, Residency (preferred)
Pharmacist Licensure – State Board of Pharmacy (required)
3 years of experience in a progressive hospital or healthcare system pharmacy leadership role (preferred)
Demonstrates leadership competencies and skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, and decision making Possesses extensive knowledge of clinical practice or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment
