As a full-time Urgent Care team member, you will enjoy contributing three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekend rotations and paid holidays allowing you plenty of time for friends, family, and self-care!

Essential Job Functions

• Collect patient information and co-pays required to initiate an urgent care visit and document such information within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Answers phone in a manner consistent with Bon Secours standards of excellence, appropriately routes calls, schedules patients, and enters necessary information for patient scheduling into the computer system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follows front end revenue cycle check-in standard work including Obtains registration from patients and accurately enters required information into the computer system, secures signatures on all required forms and updates information accordingly, Registers patients in a timely and accurate manner, collects missing information from the patient, Collects necessary co-pays and/or collection balances from the patient.
• Maintains a safe and supportive environment by keeping the work area, supplies and equipment clean, orderly, and safe manner, ensuring availability and proper functioning of supplies and equipment.
• Participates as an active member of the patient care team, including attendance at clinical huddles.
• Reconciles cash drawer at the close of the day. Schedules follow-up appointments and/or assists with scheduling other services for patients.
• Other duties include but not limited to DOT specimen collection, ordering supplies, cleaning and/or disposing of contaminated supplies, scheduling, phone triage.

Employment Qualifications

Education Qualifications Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Qualifications At least one year of face-to-face registration or Customer Service experience. Strong oral communication skills, good attention to details, and an ability to multitask.
