Operations Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Technician to join our team in maintaining and operating mechanical sampling equipment at multiple bulk terminals in the US. This role is vital in ensuring the highest 'on-line' equipment availability in the industry through a combination of well-trained personnel and effective maintenance programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean exterior and interior components of mechanical sampling systems using compressed air, water, or hand or powered tools.
  • Remove material buildup, plugging, soil, or spills from equipment, facilities, walkways, platforms, grounds, offices, tools, and vehicles.
  • Frequently observe MSS and MPS equipment during operational and static conditions for performance and condition.
  • Record and assess sample ratio data, weights, tonnages, equipment parameters, and loading sequence tracking.
  • Proficiency in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Work rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, with overtime as required.

Work Environment:

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
