The operations manager is responsible for managing all aspects of operations and production on a portfolio of maintenance accounts including labor, materials, and equipment. This position reports directly to the branch manager and is responsible for managing a book of business at a minimum of $1 million. Essential functions include supporting company vision, performing inspections of equipment and vehicles, managing budget and job cost reports, managing and leading several teams, training employees on all aspects of job, and working closely with the branch manager to lead the branch and meet monthly budgets.

Key performance indicators include quality control audits, safety inspections, contract renewal, quality jobs completed on time within the budgeted hours, customer surveys, equipment inspections, crews working safely and efficiently, crew leaders working at a high level, critical field best practices, employee development, and aspire best practices.

Education and experience qualifications include a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, 2-5 years of experience as a supervisor/manager, general knowledge of irrigation systems and turf management programs, and experience in Aspire Landscape Operating System preferred.

Skills and abilities qualifications include excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, strong working knowledge of computers, travel required, and valid driver's license with a reasonably clean record.

Physical requirements include rarely crawling, climbing poles, color vision, climbing ladders, balancing, lifting up to 50lbs, occasionally sitting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, body twisting, climbing on/off truck, gripping lifting over 10lbs to 50lbs, reaching, range of motion, depth perception, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, lifting up to 10 lbs, frequently standing, walking, sense of touch, manual dexterity, reading, and continuously speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, hearing – speech range.
