Mid Level Simulations Accreditation Systems Engineer

Amentum is seeking a Mid Level Simulations Accreditation Systems Engineer to join our team. The role requires a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, modeling and simulation methodologies, and relevant industry standards. You will be part of our growing systems, information technology & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel.

Job duties include:

• Primary focus on ensuring that simulations and models used in Virtual Testing Environment (VTE) or Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) environments are credible and reliable, particularly supporting/assessing the verification and validation (V&V) of the simulation, as well as managing the overall accreditation process.

Minimum qualifications and skills:

• Five (5) years of experience in project management with a minimum of four (4) years of experience that demonstrates knowledge of complex simulation systems and the ability to assess combat systems documentation and end user needs with the ability to identify and define simulation requirements.
• Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
• Candidates must maintain a valid Real ID driver's license required for access to customer site and have access to reliable transportation (rideshare options such as Uber, Lyft etc. are not permitted) as this position requires occasional travel between local worksites during the week.
