Medical Customer Service Rep Remote

A day in the role:

• For the contact center, when they go live on SBO, they will be bringing over a large amount of payment plans – we will need CSRs to help contact patients and update their credit card information to put it back into the new systems – it is not transferring over

• The credit card information if they are on a re-occurring payment plan is tokenized – we need to update that payment information to then put it in the new system

• Need to be able to communicate this with finesse to not freak out patients

• Several thousand patients will need to be contacted

• Phones open at 8 AM and close at 4:30 PM

• Work queue in EPIC where they have these payment plans that have fallen out of the transfer so we know who to contact

• The CSRs will reach out to these patients to help offer a payment plan and offer the terms

• They will also handle inbound calls – questions coming in – help with the overflow of patients

• Their plans will be grandfathered in, but if they were on autopay we will have to re-establish the autopay – which is what this team will mainly be responsible for

Experience with EPIC is required!

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in customer service and data entry

• Medical experience is a plus!

• Diploma or GED required

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
