Join our Convention Center Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Engineer I Heating and Air Conditioning technician where you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a diverse range of systems. As a Maintenance Engineer I HVAC, you would be responsible for the following duties:

• Daily operation of the mechanical plant and associated HVAC systems at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
• Maintain a valid HVAC Journeymans License.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to HVAC equipment and related equipment.
• Perform inspections and provides necessary reporting and recommendations.
• Requisition necessary parts, materials supplies and equipment from Facilities Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain oversight of related contractors and checks work for compliance.
• Supervises full time and part time assigned personnel when necessary.
• Perform other building maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform related tasks when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Ability to work Monday -Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with rotating weekend shifts some holidays and schedule adjustments based on schedule of events and emergency needs.
