Schedule: FT Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights) with Rotating Weekends

Fauquier Health offers a variety of Women's health services from obstetrical care to delivery services in our Family Birthing Center, to an Intermediate Care Nursery (ICN). We offer "same suite" birthing experience, where delivering families can labor, deliver, and recover in the convenience of the same room.

A Licensed Practical Nurse who excels in this role:

• Performs basic patient care and clerical/administrative activities under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Provides patient care before and after birth, assists caregivers in births. Provides safe and timely patient transport.
• Performs as a surgical scrub tech for C-sections. Manages, prepares, and restores the OR before and after each case.
• Performs as a post-partum nurse in times of high census or acuity with the support of the Charge RN.

What we're looking for:

• Applicants should have a current Virginia state LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 7 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) & STABLE are preferred.
• 1 year experience in Labor and Delivery Operating Suite or Clinical Rotation on Labor and Delivery Operating Room highly preferred.
