We are a small business seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Technicianto install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of refrigeration cycles, components, and troubleshooting methods, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure systems are functioning safely and efficiently. You will not be treated as a number but as a person. Key Responsibilities: - Install, inspect, and test refrigeration systems and components (e.g., compressors, condensers, evaporators, piping). - Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration and HVAC systems. - Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and emergency repairs on refrigeration units. - Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations and industry best practices. - Maintain records of services, repairs, parts used, and customer interactions. - Ensure all systems comply with safety and environmental regulations. - Provide excellent customer service while responding to service calls or scheduled appointments. - Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams. - Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other technicians as needed. - Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition. Working Conditions: - May be required to work in hot, cold, or noisy environments. - Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
