The Human Resources Business Partner is a key partner to our business, supporting the team member experience and our leadership teams. From onboarding new team members to supporting transitions or promotions, this team member will play a key role in full team member lifecycle management. With an overall focus on compensation, performance management, and general support of team member relations. Our business partners are key in driving our culture and overall employee engagement.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage compliance with human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Company HR policies and procedures
- Manage the team member lifecycle from onboarding through the separation for the assigned business units. Working closely with entire HR team to provide a seamless team member and manager experience
- Advise and educate team members and managers on key policy and compliance matters with the ability to answer compensation, payroll, and benefits questions
- Coach managers to best resolve work-related team member issues and understand the Stanley Martin Way to handle performance counseling, organizational structure, and compensation plans
- When needed, conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations, when necessary, situations arise
- Work with the Director of HR and the People Analytics team on the creation, delivery and analysis of key business reports and various HR metrics
- Complete other duties as assigned by the manager
- Represent the company professionally in all internal and external interactions and communications
- Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment
- Adhere to and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Stanley Martin
Position Standards:

- Knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to organize and balance multiple priorities and business needs
- Related HR Business Partner and policy experience
- PHR Certification Preferred
- This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) on site
