Expert Cybersecurity Engineer Ts/Sci With Poly Required

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an Expert Cybersecurity Engineer within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving cybersecurity advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. You will be responsible for leveraging deep subject matter knowledge and experience to lead matrixed teams of ISSOs and ISSEs to navigate the RMF process to achieve security authorization milestones for complex systems and applications while supporting security operations for deployed capabilities.

Your future duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provide CS subject matter expertise and advisor to government CS officials.
  • Manage and direct A&A lifecycle and activities (7 phases of the RMF) across a large program.
  • Illustrate expertise in leading and managing security processes and procedures using customer information assurance tools.
  • Lead a team in the publication of fully documented Body of Evidence artifacts.
  • Gather specific access control requirements and suggest solutions for mitigation.
  • Liaise with ISSOs, ISSMs, and/or government partners on security posture.
  • Embrace agile methodologies and the advantages it brings to communication, flexibility, and delivering A&A artifacts.
  • Exhibit sound understanding for NIST Special Publication 800-53r5, ICD 503, and other supporting directives and policies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role include:

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • DoDI 8570.01 Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification.
  • A minimum of five years of experience leading DoD and IC risk management activities, including implementation of DoD and IC RMFs.
  • A minimum of five years of experience leading CS teams in a similar environment.
  • A minimum of three years of experience implementing corrections actions, bug fixes, implementing patches, or other remediation activity.
  • A minimum of three years of experience developing, implementing, and actioning POA&M.
  • Knowledge of providing executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior personnel in an IC/DoD organization.
  • One or more CS related technology certifications or related technical training.
  • A minimum of two years of experience relating to CS for Cloud or Hybrid Cloud environment.
  • One or more ITIL certifications.
  • Experience with implementation of DoD RMFs.
  • IASAE certification.
