Entry Level Structural Engineer
We are currently hiring for an Entry Level Structural Engineer. This position could also be for an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer or Civil Engineer who has an interest in this work. The Structural Engineer position provides technical oversight for various structural and mechanical systems on piers. The Structural Engineer will need to develop a cohesive working relationship with system operators and maintenance personnel. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing technical direction, producing technical documentation, developing strategic plans, and participating in project design and implementation.
Qualifications include US citizenship, a BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited program, and a willingness to learn. Team player skills are also required.
Additional information includes a long-term, multi-year contract, a pay rate of $35-$38/hr, and benefits. The position is a 1st shift, Monday-Friday, fully onsite contract based out of Newport News, VA. The application deadline is anticipated to close on Nov 28, 2025.
