Enterprise IT Support Officer

This position requires office presence of a minimum of five days per week and is only located at customer's site in Williamsburg, VA. AT&T has an opening for an Enterprise IT Support Officer (EITSO) to support the location support center (LSC) team in providing technical support and customer service. The duties include:

  • Providing technical support and customer service to the organization's users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes)
  • Answering questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures
  • Collaborating with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems
  • Maintaining a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems
  • Working independently, receiving minimal guidance
  • Acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Having knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others
  • Solving complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Impacting a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; working within broad guidelines and policies
  • Explaining complex concepts

Required Clearance: TSSCI with polygraph

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas
  • Ability to act as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
  • BA/BS and two years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to six years
