BWXT's Nuclear Operations Group - Lynchburg is currently seeking an Engineering Cad Technologist for its Lynchburg, VA location! The Engineering Cad Technologist will support the NOG-L Facilities Engineering group. Facilities Engineering is responsible for the entire NOG-L physical facility, inside and outside. Essential functions/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Converting as-built conditions into new or updated drawings.
• Constructing detailed drawings from sketches and notes. These can include civil, electrical, mechanical and general facility layout.
• Assist engineers in the conversion of drawings supporting facility infrastructure, production equipment and Secuni systems.
• Develop and maintain technical records as necessary.

Required qualifications include:

• Minimum of some college work completed plus 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in CAD software, MicroStation preferred, and CAD standards.
• Understanding of industrial/construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs.
• SAP Plant Maintenance experience preferred.
• Superior written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
• US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Pay: $56,000 - $88,000 per year. The base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
