Emergency Ambulance Services Billing Assistant
The Northern Neck Planning District Commission has an immediate opening for an Emergency Ambulance Services Billing Assistant. This position will be responsible for assisting with the ambulance transport billing and collection activities to include Medicare, Commercial Insurance, and Private-Pay accounts. The successful candidate will possess accounting skills and have training or experience in medical billing. Specific training in our billing software will be provided. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite), attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information according to regulations like HIPAA are a necessity. All work is done in person at the NNPDC office. Full-time position with excellent benefits. Starting salary anticipated to be $45,000.
