Conceptualize the initial design approach for major phases of plumbing projects for large commercial/industrial facilities, with overall responsibility for engineering work.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work.
Supervise project design and ongoing progress, including coordination with city, state, and county officials and other outside agencies.
Liaise between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams.
Review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
Participations in bidding and construction administration.
Qualifications:
Relevant engineering degree: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
P.E. license required – must be a fully licensed Professional Engineer.
Minimum 5-10 years of commercial/industrial MEP engineering experience, specifically in plumbing – for example: water supply, sanitary drainage and waste systems, stormwater management, natural gas piping, specialized systems (medical gas, lab waste, grease interceptors), etc.
