FCDOT is seeking a Capital Projects Section Chief (Engineer V) to join our Active Transportation, Capital Projects and Traffic Engineering Division. This position requires a high degree of competence in both technical and administrative aspects, overseeing and reviewing technical work of professional engineering and planning staff engaged in multimodal capital projects. Also, provides overall coordination of complex capital projects plans and studies with other county, state and federal agencies, as well as residents and elected officials. Responsibilities include:

• Performing, overseeing, and reviewing technical work related to identifying need, location, scope, and cost of multimodal transportation capital projects, including intersection, roadway, pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and parking facilities
• Developing and reviewing design plans, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments
