Business Information Services Manager

The Business Information Services Manager works as a full-time employee of Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. (Zeiders). Duties can be performed in the Woodbridge, VA office, or remotely with a schedule aligned with U.S. Eastern Time. This position supports organizational leadership in the planning, implementation, support, and management of contract-specific IT needs, Information Assurance activities, and the oversight of SaaS vendors. The role is responsible for coordinating contract system implementations in alignment with Zeiders' corporate technology policies and practices. Additionally, this position assists in the administration and continuous improvement of program technologies including; CCaaS platforms, reporting/dashboard systems, and appointment management tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's systems portfolio to address business needs of the contracts, system usage, and operations.
- Review existing systems and identify opportunities for process improvements through data sharing and process automation.
- Lead the requirements management lifecycle; accurately capturing and translating business requirements into system functionality.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of IT policies and procedures as they relate to the contracts.
- Liaison with other departments, units, and individuals on joint planning and activities, including corporate training, communications, and corporate change management.
- Undertake assignments on projects or special initiatives as appropriate.
- Manage the business relationship with Zeiders multiple SaaS vendors and be a point of escalation for response and technical issues.
- Manage any interfaces between SaaS systems by working with vendors for optimum results.
- Represent ISD in the proposal process and be the primary ISD presence in the bid-to-execution transition process.
- Plan and manage contract support resources by working with contract Business Managers, IT Leadership, and Contract Deputy Program Managers (or delegates).
- Manage contract expectations as to implementation priorities and resources.
- Be the primary point of contact for contract Information Assurance matters including Third Party Assessments, Government system access management, and liaison with other contractors and the government.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all program-related technical issues, providing advanced support beyond the Service Desk and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely resolution.
- Plan and manage implementations for new and/or upgraded systems for both on-site and cloud-based services, working with cross-functional teams and external vendors, delivering on-time, on-budget performance.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Apply situational leadership to guide projects, influence outcomes, and coordinate activities across teams while operating.
- Lead in accordance with company policies, Cultural Norms and Core Values.
- Provide oversight of external vendors during selection, evaluation, onboarding, and delivery. Ensure vendors perform in accordance with project scope and agreed service level deliverables.
- Maintain strong working relationships across business units, facilitate alignment, resolve issues when they arise, and help ensure smooth operations and successful project execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, coupled with 5+ years IT program management experience.
- Current Security + CE OR PMP/PMP-A certification required with the ability to qualify for the other.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a project/technical lead capacity.
- Experience managing projects (i.e. mapping, software/process flow, system linkages, etc.) primarily using commercial off-the shelf solutions, both hosted and resident.
- DOD/ Government contracting experience.
- Experience in developing and managing IT vendor contracts, including budgets.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage special initiatives.
