Building Operations Manager

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Building Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in customer relations, general supervision, able to conduct preventive maintenance, to care for building property, be attentive to detail, is an effective task manager, and able to use basic office applications. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and effectively write daily progress reports and provide status updates on work performed. This role involves reading and becoming familiar with technical manuals, in order to gain the knowledge to know how to maintain and report the status of technical capabilities that are located on the premises as well as the additional rented facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and conduct preventive maintenance on building premises and capabilities located on the premises.
  • Identify and solve complex problems that arrive within the premises.
  • Manage Building Schedule and communicate effectively with all customers utilizing the premises.
  • Effectively deconflict scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain property accountability and ensure premises are ready to support activities scheduled.
  • Manage and oversee the care of technical capabilities that are deployed to the premises and provide daily status updates to program managers on the assets.
  • Utilize Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel as required for reporting and tracking purposes.
  • Assist in training, testing, updating operator manuals, and associated documents as needed.

Qualifications

Required: + 4+ years' experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance on residential building and homes. + 4+ years' experience in property maintenance. + Strong tradecraft background and understanding of how to use tools required to conduct building maintenance. + Capability to perform tasks autonomously and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently. + Able to respond to emergencies 24/7 when they occur.
