Department Summary: Do you enjoy applying mathematics to real world problems? Are you interested in identifying and solving challenging mathematical problems that form the basis for solutions in communications, navigation, and timing? MITRE is a not-for-profit company dedicated to solving problems for a safer world. Among our many work programs are large programs in GPS, navigation, timing, and communications. MITRE has a long and distinguished history in these fields including our contributions to the design of new GPS signals, the development of software radio GPS receivers, the development of novel satellite navigation receivers, the development of tools and techniques to support low probability of intercept communications, and algorithms and techniques used to reduce interference for receivers.
Roles & Responsibilities: MITRE's Communications, SIGINT, and PNT department is looking for talented mathematicians and applied mathematicians who are interested in joining our team and leveraging their strong mathematics background to help solve important problems in electrical engineering.
