Weekend Visitor Services Technicians - Virginia Museum of the Civil War - New Market - Part-Time

The Virginia Museum of the Civil War at the New Market Battlefield State Historical Park (Shenandoah County), is accepting applications for part-time Weekend Visitor Services Technicians. Duties include orienting visitors, operating a cash register/credit card terminal and customer service. Hours: 8:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., hours worked as needed by management, weekend work required.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications: Requires interest in history & strong communications skills; Enthusiasm for working with the public Basic computer skills Familiarity with the POS system Neat business like appearance

Additional Considerations

Experience in retail sales Poise, reliability & friendly, professional manner Proven experience with customer service
