Reynolds Community College is seeking a Student Support Services Administrative Specialist to assist students get connected to federal, state, local, and institutional benefits and resources, by screening students for benefits and working with them through the application process for those benefits. Connecting more students to benefits will help mitigate or remove the effects of external variables that may inhibit a student's ability to perform in the classroom or otherwise persist at the College. This role also provides administrative and organizational support to the Dean of the Downtown Campus. Serving as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and community members, the specialist will deliver exceptional customer service while managing daily office operations. Responsibilities include maintaining calendars, databases, and spreadsheets; scheduling appointments; developing and managing filing systems; preparing reports; and providing direct administrative support to units reporting to the dean.
