Job Duties

Provide clerical support and assistance to the Department of Education, specifically assigned to the Student Academic and Support Services (SASS) team and the Division of Education regarding student information and records. This position implements office procedures such as filing, copying, recording data, note taking, maintaining office equipment, and keeping track of materials and supplies, and assisting with special projects as requested. The person in this position assists with the maintenance and distribution of student records and preparing those records for transfer to the Library of Virginia for storage. This position requires excellent oral and written skills.
