UVA Primary Care - Locust Grove is seeking a part-time pediatric Nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant for their practice in Locust Grove, VA. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - UVA Primary Care, Locust Grove, VA Part-Time | 20 hrs/week | Day Shift Join UVA Health's Pediatric Primary Care team in Locust Grove, VA. We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant to deliver exceptional care to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide well-child exams, sick visits, and developmental screenings
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and conditions
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Prescribe medications and therapies per Virginia prescriptive authority
• Offer parent/caregiver education on wellness, nutrition, and disease management
• Coordinate referrals to pediatric specialists as needed
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and coding

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program or PA program (Master's required)
• Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia
• Current BLS (PALS required; NRP as applicable)
• Meets UVA Health credentialing and certification standards

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs
• May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious diseases

Location: UVA Primary Care - Locust Grove, VA Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hrs/week, 1st Shift
