 
                                                
                                            The Program Support Specialist – Healthcare Programs supports the mission of the Community College Workforce Alliance by providing administrative and program coordination for healthcare workforce training programs and related initiatives. This position also supports other programs as needed, including registration, reporting, and grant-funded activities. The specialist serves as a key liaison to students, instructors, employers, and third-party partners to ensure seamless program delivery and an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities include providing administrative and program support to the Healthcare Workforce Training team, assisting with registration processes, grant tracking, and tuition assistance documentation, serving as a subject matter expert for administrative processes related to Healthcare programming, coordinating class logistics, maintaining accurate records, reports, and databases related to program activities and participant outcomes, acting as a liaison between the Community College Workforce Alliance, instructors, students, third-party vendors, testing proctors, and partner organizations, supporting a range of workforce programs, providing responsive, professional customer service to students, employers, and community partners, assisting with special events, online training programs, and skills testing coordination, and performing other duties as assigned to support the operations and mission of the Community College Workforce Alliance.
Minimum qualifications include considerable knowledge of administrative and office support practices and procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications, strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with attention to detail, ability to manage priorities and work independently with minimal supervision, excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to foster positive relationships, working knowledge of financial aid or tuition assistance processes preferred, ability to interpret and communicate policies, research issues, and resolve problems independently, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include post-secondary training or education in office administration, business, or an industry-related field, experience in workforce development, higher education, or a similar setting, experience communicating with corporate or government agencies, experience using computer-based student information systems or financial reporting tools, and experience supporting healthcare or technical training programs.
