Food Operations Assistant Director: Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women #00092

Position supervises the activities of Food Service staff and inmates in the preparation and serving of meals to the population ensuring compliance with all policies. Manages operations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and security regulations. Responsible for budgeting, procurement, food storage, timekeeping, and schedule management.

Working knowledge of large volume food operations, sanitation, and food safety standards. Working knowledge of the computer and Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook. Skilled in the operation of food service equipment. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and/or inmates in a food service environment.

Serv-Safe Certification. Working knowledge of Department of Corrections (DOC) policies and procedures for Food Services. Food Service experience working in a correctional, educational, hospital or similar institutional environment.
