CISE Operations Coordinator

The College of Integrated Science and Engineering (CISE) at James Madison University is accepting applications for the position of Operations Coordinator. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a budget manager for the College of Integrated Science & Engineering (CISE), providing general monitoring of budgets in order to provide accurate information and insight.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and records.
  • Act as a liaison to Academic Resources and other JMU financial offices.
  • Assist staff members in the college with financial record keeping and university processes.
  • Assist with administrative support for college-level programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • General understanding of basic accounting procedure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  • Ability to work independently, and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to effectively prioritize short- and long-term objectives/tasks to meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and ability to work with databases.
